Cookie policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on studio.honeycombbrands.co.uk, what they do, and how you can control them.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves on your device. Websites can also save information in your browser's local storage, which works in a similar way. In this policy "cookies" covers both.
Some cookies are strictly necessary for the site to work and don't need your consent. Others help us understand how the site is used; we only use those with your consent. Our missed-calls calculator doesn't use cookies, and nothing you type into it is stored or sent anywhere.
2. Strictly necessary
These keep the site secure and working. They can't be switched off.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn't use cookies or store anything on your device.
3. Visit tracking
Our website platform can record which pages you visit and how you found us, so that if you then contact us or book a call we can see what brought you here. This page history is only recorded if you choose "Accept all".

Our website platform also sets one cookie on every visit, before you make a choice, and we can't currently switch it off:

You can delete this cookie at any time in your browser settings. If our platform provider lets us hold it back until you choose, we'll update this policy.
4. Booking calendar
The booking calendar on our homepage is provided by our website platform and loads from api.honeycombbrands.co.uk. When it loads, it saves the following in your browser's local storage for that address. It does this whatever you choose in the cookie banner, and we can't currently switch it off:

If our platform provider lets the calendar follow your banner choice, we'll update this policy. We don't currently use a website chat.
5. Other Honeycomb sites
If you've visited other Honeycomb Brands websites, such as our shop at honeycombbrands.co.uk, your browser may also hold cookies set by those sites, for example Google Analytics (_ga, _gid, _ga_*) and Shopify (_shopify_y). Some of these may be set for the whole honeycombbrands.co.uk domain, so your browser may send them when you visit this site too, but this site doesn't read or use them. They're covered by the policies on those sites.
6. Your choices
When you first visit, a banner asks whether to accept all cookies or essential cookies only. Your page history is only recorded if you choose "Accept all". The exceptions are the msgsndr_id cookie (section 3) and the booking calendar's storage (section 4). We remember your choice for 14 days, then ask again.
To change your choice later, clear the cookies and site data for studio.honeycombbrands.co.uk in your browser settings. The banner will appear again on your next visit.
You can also block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working. The ICO explains more at ico.org.uk.
